Edebiyat, kişisel yaratıcılıkla ilgili olsa da ele aldığı konu ve sorunlar toplumsal olaylardan ve toplumdan etkilenir. Buna göre sanatçı toplumlardaki çelişkileri ve düzensizlikleri ele alır ve buna dayalı bir edebi söylem oluşturur. Edebi romanlarda toplumsal ilişkilerin ve çelişkilerin varlığı bize edebiyatın ve sosyolojinin dinamizmini sunar. Bu çalışma, Sevgi Soysal'ın ‘Yıldırım Bölge Kadınlar Koğuşu’ adlı romanını ele alarak sosyoloji hakkında değerlendirmelerde bulunacaktır.
Even though literature is related to personal creativity, the issues and problems it deals with are affected by social events and society. Accordingly, the artist deals with the contradictions and irregularities in societies and creates a literary discourse based on this. The presence of social relations and contradictions in literary novels offers us the dynamism of literature and sociology. This study will make evaluations about sociology by addressing Sevgi Soysal's novel named ‘Yıldırım Area Women's Ward’.
