Küre-yerelleşme, küreselleşmenin sorunlarını aşmış çağdaş bir paradigma olduğu iddiasındadır. Bu paradigmanın amacı dünyada istikrar, barış ve refahın sağlanmasıdır. Küre-yerelleşme, şehirlerde ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bu sebeple günümüz şehirleri hızla küre-yerel bir forma bürünmektedir. Bu küresel eğilim Türk şehirlerinde de bütün ağırlığıyla hissedilmektedir. Bununla birlikte küre-yerel şehrin, başta ülkemiz olmak üzere Batı-dışı dünyaya istikrar mı yoksa kaos mu getireceği bir soru konusudur. Bu çalışmada, bu gözle, şehrin dönüşümünden, idarî vesayete, katılımcılıktan şehir diplomasisine birçok veçhesiyle meselelere uyum sağlama biçimimiz değerlendirilmiştir.
Glocalization is a contemporary paradigm which claims that it solved the problems caused by globalization. The purpose of this paradigm is to provide the world stability, peace and global prosperity. Cities are the places where the glocalization emerged. For this reason, today’s cities rapidly transform into a glocal form. The full impact of this trend is felt in Turkish cities. However, whether this trend will bring stability or chaos to the glocal city of the non-Western world is still a question. In this study, the transformation of the city, the administrative tutelage, participation in city administration, city diplomacy and issues alike which glocalization claimed to solve are evaluated.
