Gezi olayları İstanbul'da başlamasına rağmen kısa sürede ülkenin dört bir yanına yayılmıştır. Başladığı yerden farklı olarak isyan niteliği taşıyan olaylar çeşitli biçimlerde birçok şehir ve ilçe merkezinde kendini göstermiştir. Ancak dikkat çekici bir nokta Gezi Direnişi/İsyani tabir edilen hareketin ülkenin eski ve yeni başkentindeki farklı görüntüleridir. Bunun bir nedeni iki şehirdeki eylem alanlarının fiziksel farklılıkları iken, bir başka sebebinin de iki şehrin taşıdığı "ruhların" farklı olmasıdır.
The event of Gezi started in Istanbul but within a short period it disseminated all over the country. Differing from the place it started the events took the form of rebellion in these other cities and districts. But a surprising thing was that the movement named as Gezi Resistance/Rebellion was different moments of the movement lived in the old and the new capitals of the country. One of the reasons for this is the physical differences of action fields between two cities, and the other is that these cities have different “souls”.
