Orhan Pamuk'un 2014 yılında yayınlanan ‘Kafamda Bir Tuhaflık' romanı, İstanbul'daki gecekonduları Duttepe ve Kültepe gibi iki kurgusal gecekondu üzerinden ele alan edebi eserlerden biridir. Pamuk'un ‘Kafamda Bir Tuhaflık' adlı eserini hem edebiyat sosyolojisi hem de kent sosyolojisi açısından inceleyecek olan bu makale, gecekondulaşma sürecini ve Alevi-Sünni, Kürt-Türk, sağcı-solcu gibi etnik, dini ve ideolojik çatışmaları inceleyecektir.
Orhan Pamuk's novel, ‘A Strangeness in My Mind’, published in 2014, is one of the literary works that deals with the slums in Istanbul through two fictional slums such as Duttepe and Kültepe. This article, which will examine Pamuk's work called ‘A Strangeness in My Mind’ in terms of both literary sociology and urban sociology, will examine the process of slum settlement and ethnic, religious and ideological conflicts such as Alevi-Sunni, Kurdish-Turkish, rightist-leftist.
