Ortadoğu, fizikî-coğrafî bir kavram olmaktan ziyade kültürel farklılık ve zıtlığı ifade etmek üzere kullanılmaktadır. Bu anlamda, onu kullanan kültürel, siyasî, stratejik ve ekonomik çevreler ile içinde bulunulan konjonktür ve bağlama göre anlam, içerik ve boyutları değişebilmektedir. Bu çalışma ile, Büyük Orta Doğu Projesi’nin yaratmış olduğu sorunlar tespit edilecektir. Bu anlamda çalışma, Büyük Orta Doğu Projesi’nin geniş çaplı anlaşılması açısından literatüre önemli bir katkı sağlayacaktır.
The Middle East is used to express cultural difference and contrast rather than a physical-geographic concept. In this sense, its meaning, content and dimensions may change according to the current conjuncture and context, as well as the cultural, political, strategic and economic environments that use it. With this study, the problems created by the Great Middle East Project will be determined. In this sense, the study will make an important contribution to the literature in terms of understanding the Great Middle East Project in a wide scale.
