Bu yazıda Baykan Sezer’in gerek öğrencisi olarak gerekse iş ve çalışma ilişkisi içinde 20 yıldan fazla süren bir birlikteliğin izdüşümü olan gözlemlerden bilim anlayışı ve bilimsel yazım tarzıyla ilişkili tanıklıklar aktarılmaktadır. Baykan Sezer, bir öğretim üyesi ve bir hoca olarak kendi çalışma tarzı ve disiplini ile çevresine bir yandan model bir yandan da şaşırtıcı bir örnek olarak hafızalardaki yerini almıştır. Bu yazıda aktarılanlar akademisyen kimliğinin yanı sıra insani ilişkilerdeki özgün tavrını da gözlemlerin yettiği ölçüde ortaya koymaya çalışmaktadır. Bu şekliyle tarihe bir not da düşülmesi adına Baykan Sezer’in birinci kuşak öğrencilerinden biri olarak söz konusu tanıklıkların önemli olduğu düşünülmektedir.
In this article, testimonies related to his understanding of science and scientific writing style are presented from the observations of Baykan Sezer, which is the projection of a collaboration that lasted more than 20 years, both as a student and in his work and study relationship. Baykan Sezer, as a lecturer and teacher, has taken his place in the memories as a model and a surprising example to his environment with his own working style and discipline. In addition to his academic identity, what is conveyed in this article tries to reveal his unique attitude in human relations to the extent of observations. As one of Baykan Sezer's first generation students, the testimonies in question are thought to be important in order to make a note of history in this way.
