Bu yazı, hapse girme gerekçeleri bağlamında benzer süreçlerden geçerek yolu hapishaneye düşen bu satırların yazarının gözünden Kemal Tahir’i anlama ve anlamlandırma çabasıdır. Kemal Tahir yaşadığı ülkenin geleceği ile ilgili öngörülerini çabasını sosyalizm üzerinden kurmuş, çalışmalarında ve yaşamında bu pencereden bakmaya özen göstermiştir. Yazara Türk romanında belli bir anlam kazandıran onun bu özelliğidir. Marksizm’i metot olarak Kemal Tahir’in Osmanlı konusuna ulaşması da bu yolla olmuştur. Konusuna yaklaşırken de ayaklarının bu topraklara basmasına özen göstermiştir. Yazının esas amacı Kemal Tahir’in bu yönünü ortaya koymak ve genel bir değerlendirme yapmaktır
This article is an effort to understand and make sense of Kemal Tahir through the eyes of the author of these lines, who went through similar processes in the context of the reasons for being imprisoned. Kemal Tahir has built his predictions about the future of the country he lives in, based on socialism, and has taken care to look at it from this window in his works and life. It is this feature of the author that gives a certain meaning to the Turkish novel. It was in this way that Kemal Tahir, using Marxism as a method, reached the subject of the Ottoman Empire. While approaching his subject, he took care to keep his feet on these lands. The main purpose of the article is to reveal this aspect of Kemal Tahir and to make a general evaluation.
