1980'lerden itibaren dünyada yaşanan değişimlere paralel olarak eğitim anlayışı da değişmiştir. Kamu hizmeti olmaktan çıkan eğitim, özelleştirilmiş ve piyasaya uygun hale getirilmiştir. Neoliberal politikalar doğrultusunda piyasanın ihtiyaçlarına göre yeniden düzenlenen eğitim kurumu, kâr amaçlı ticari bir kurum haline gelmiştir. Tüm bunlardan hareketle bu çalışmanın amacı, 1980 sonrasında küresel olarak öne çıkan neoliberalizmin eğitim üzerindeki etkisini incelemektir.
In parallel with the changes in the world since the 1980s, the understanding of education has changed. Education, which has ceased to be a public service, has been customized and market-appropriate. The educational institution, which was reorganized according to the needs of the market in line with neoliberal policies, has become a commercial institution for profit. Based on all these, the aim of this study is to examine the effect of neoliberalism on education, which became prominent globally after 1980.
