Uluslararası göçe maruz kalan kadınların sayısı 1950'lerden bu yana istikrarlı bir şekilde artmaktadır. Göç, dünyanın birçok ülkesinde “vatandaş” olarak bile insanca yaşayamayan, fiziksel, psikolojik, cinsel şiddet ve yoksulluk döngüsüne hapsolmuş bir kadın için fırsattan çok tehdit gibidir. Ne memleketlerinde ne göç yollarında ne de geldikleri ülkelerde huzur bulamayan kadınların hikayeleri, “kadınlara ülke yok” dedirtir. Bu çalışmada, göç yollarındaki kadınlardan bahsedilecektir.
The number of women subjected to international migration has been steadily increasing since the 1950s. Immigration is more like a threat than an opportunity for a woman who cannot live humanely even as a "citizen" in many countries of the world and is trapped in the cycle of physical, psychological, sexual violence and poverty. The stories of women who can find comfort neither in their homeland, on their migration routes, nor in the countries they arrive at, make people say "no country for women".
