Bu çalışma, Cumhuriyet'in ilk yıllarında çok partili hayata geçiş girişimi olarak Serbest Cumhuriyet Fırkası'nın projeksiyonlarından hareketle dönemin gazetecilik anlayışını Kemal Tahir'in ‘Yol Ayrımı’ adlı romanı çerçevesinde incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Serbest Cumhuriyet Fırkası'nın toplumsal kodlarını romanın kahramanı gazeteci Murat'ın gözünden ele almak çalışmanın önemini vurgulamaktadır. Bu çalışma ile dönemin gazetecilik anlayışı Kemal Tahir'in ‘Yol Ayrımı’ romanı çerçevesinde Serbest Cumhuriyet Fırkası temel alınarak analiz edilecektir.
This study aims to examine the journalism understanding of the period, based on the projections of the Free Republican Party, as an attempt to transition to multi-party political life in the early Republic years, within the framework of Kemal Tahir's novel called ‘The Junction’. Handling the social codes of the Free Republican Party from the perspective of journalist Murat, who is the protagonist of the novel, emphasizes the importance of the study. With this study, the journalism understanding of the period will be analyzed, based on the Free Republican Party, within the framework of Kemal Tahir's “The Junction” novel.
