Futbol, günlük hayatın önemli bir parçasıdır. Futbol, her kesimden ve sınıftan grupların kolaylıkla birleşebildiği bir uzlaşma platformudur. Bu çalışmada, futbolun kitleselliği ve çok yönlü toplumsal işlevleri genel hatlarıyla açıklanmıştır. Bu çalışmada, futbolun boş zaman, sosyalleşme, iletişim, taraftarlık, endüstri, sportif katılım ve oyun gibi temel sosyal işlevleri sunulmuştur. Çalışmanın son bölümünde önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
Football is an important part of everyday life. Football is a platform of consensus where groups of all strata and class can easily unite. In this study, the massiveness and multifaceted social functions of football are expounded in general terms. In this study, basic social functions of football such as leisure time, socialization, communication, advocacy, industry, sportive participation and game are presented. Suggestions are made in the last part of the study.
