Abstract

Batı dünya egemenliğinin sağlanmasının ardından modernist, ardından postmodernist bakış açısı ile birçok kavram yeniden ele alınmıştır. Günümüzde bilginin yaygınlaştığı iddiaları belirli bir gerçeklik payı taşımaktadır; ama aynı zamanda bilginin üretim ve yayılma süreçleri üzerindeki denetimin de oldukça ileri boyutlarda gerçekleştiği görülmektedir. Yadsınamaz bir biçimde bilgi teknolojileri üzerinde Batı tekeli söz konusudur. Buna ek olarak bilgi çağımızda giderek büyük bir hızla sermaye ve yatırıma dönüşmektedir.

Abstract

After the West achieved world domination, many concepts have been reevaluated first from a modernist, and then from a postmodernist perspective. Today there is a certain amount of truth in saying that information has spread everywhere; but at the same time control over the production and spreading of information has increased. There is a certain monopoly of the West in the field of information technologies. Besides, information has become a capital and investment in our age.
