Tezer Özlü, ikinci bir dilde kitap yazan ve bu dil için edebiyat ödüllerinden birini alan ilk Türk yazardır. Romanında yeni bir toplumsal dil yerine içine kapanık, uyumsuz bir dil geliştirmiştir. Türkiye'de olduğu gibi Almanya'da da hayatın eşiğindedir. Bir anlamda romanında verilen roman anlayışına karşı çıkarken, çıkışı olmayan pasif bir direniş geliştirmiştir. Bunların hepsi bu çalışmada tartışılacaktır.
Tezer Özlü is the first Turkish writer to write a book in a second language and receive one of the literature awards for that language. Instead of a new social language in her novel, she has developed an introverted, incompatible language. It is at the edge of life in Germany as well as in Turkey. In a sense, while opposing the understanding of the novel given in her novel, she has developed a passive resistance with no exit. All of these will be discussed in this study.
