Kültür, sosyolojide çok faydalı bir kavramdır. Bu kavram görünüşte sosyolojinin temel kavramlarından biri olmasına rağmen antropolojiden tarihe, siyasetten dine, coğrafyadan ekonomiye birçok disiplinde yaygın olarak kullanılmaktadır. Kavramın yaygın olarak kullanılmasının işlevsel olmasının yanı sıra ülkemiz için siyasi, ideolojik, düşünsel ve sosyal nedenleri de bulunmaktadır. Ülkemizin siyasal-sosyal değişimini kültür kavramı üzerinden okuyabiliriz. Çalışmada, bu nedenlerle ilgili bir tartışma yapılacaktır. Ele alacağımız bir diğer konu ise kültür kavramının tarihi süreç içerisinde ülkemizdeki serüveni olacaktır.
Culture is a very useful concept in sociology. Although this concept is apparently one of the basic concepts of sociology, it is widely used in many disciplines from anthropology to history, from politics to religion and from geography to economics. In addition to being functional, the concept's widespread use has political, ideological, intellectual and social reasons for our country. We can read the political-social change of our country through the concept of culture. A discussion on these reasons will be undertaken in the study. Another issue that we will consider will be the adventure of the concept of culture in our country in the historical process.
