Bu çalışmanın amacı, Kemal Tahir-Baykan Sezer düşüncesinin bir devamcısı olan Sosyologca dergisinin temel eğilimlerini analiz etmektir. Sosyologca, Türk toplum düşüncesi ve dergiciliği içinde özgün yeri olan bir dergidir. Derginin, Baykan Sezer öncülüğünde Sosyoloji Yıllığı ile olan tarihsel birikimi incelendiğinde ise bir düşünce geleneğine sahip olması en önemli özelliğidir. Sosyologca dergisi, Kemal Tahir-Baykan Sezer düşünce geleneğinin güncel sorunlara ilişkin kuramsal düzeyde bir sınama imkânı vermektedir. Bu kapsamda, Türkiye’de ve dünyada gerek toplumbilimlerinin geçirdiği dönüşümlere gerekse geçmişe yönelik yaptığı değerlendirmelerle Sosyologca dergisi temel eğilimini canlı tutmayı başarmıştır.
The aim of this study is to analyze the basic features of the Sosyologca journal, which is a continuation of Kemal Tahir-Baykan Sezer's thought. Sosyologca is a journal that has a unique place in Turkish social thought and journalism. When the historical accumulation of the journal with the Sociology Yearbook under the leadership of Baykan Sezer is examined, its most important feature is that it has a tradition of thought. Journal of Sosyologca provides a theoretical test of the Kemal Tahir-Baykan Sezer tradition of thought on current problems. In this context, the journal Sosyologca has managed to keep its basic trend alive, with its evaluations of both the transformations of sociology in Turkey and the world, and the past.
